The incident led to the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. Several persons went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

The incident – described by police as was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
