It has been confirmed that original stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the newest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

The actors are returning as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Speculation suggests their cameos will take the form of a flash-forward sequence, given that the main film series concluded with their characters living in peace.

• Ralph Fiennes takes on the part of a earlier incarnation of the calculating President Snow.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated for a Golden Globe for the film Die My Love. Josh Hutcherson is part of the successful franchise Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
